Long Daycare

Our Long Day Care room (also known as the Wimbi Room) provides care for 0-6 year olds, including Before and After Kindergarten Care. We also provide Before School Care for children aged 6-12 upon request.

Our Wimbi Room offers lots of different activities guided by the children’s interests and developmental needs. We adopt an approach to learning which values each child’s funds of knowledge, connecting their home lives to life at Long Day Care. Children are encouraged to develop their self help skills such as toileting, washing hands, getting their lunch, looking after their belongings etc., fostering life long learning and independence.

Children have a choice of what they would like to participate in. All of our warm and friendly staff are professionally trained in the latest Early Years Learning Framework ideals and will ensure your child always has a fun and interesting day.

Operating Hours*: The daycare room operates 50 weeks per year, with the centre closing for 2 weeks across the Christmas break.

Thursday 7.30am – 6.00pm

Friday 7.30am – 6.00pm

* 7.00am open is available upon request, with prior notice.

Accounts will be issued weekly for those who have their child enrolled into the Long Day Care program. Accounts for Kindergarten fees only will be issued during the kinder term.
